Lauren Alaina could hardly stop laughing as she told the story of an onstage wardrobe malfunction that “should’ve gone viral.”

Alaina joined Kaitlyn Bristowe on a recent episode of Off The Vine, catching up with the podcast host on all things motherhood, marriage and music. Alaina and her husband of just over a year, Cam Arnold, recently shared that they’re expecting their first child this year. The former American Idol contestant announced her pregnancy with Baby No. 1 at the end of a full circle music video for her latest single, “Those Kind Of Women.”

On Off The Vine, Alaina is “getting hilariously candid, and trust me, we are laughing a lot—from pregnancy surprises to birthing class horrors, massive weddings to middle school connections (spoiler: she might be responsible for Kane Brown’s career?!). Lauren spills on how she met her husband, her record-breaking country music milestones, and the confession at the end…had us crying laughing,” Bristowe teased. “How this is not out is just beyond me. I have no idea how this has never came out,” Alaina said as she revealed the story. “So, I get married. Cameron and I get married. We go on our honeymoon, and immediately we go to Europe for this European tour,” she said, pausing to laugh. Bristowe said she was on the edge of her seat. “And we were playing in London at the O2, which is like a huge deal…It’s an arena there. It’s a big deal. We went over to C2C, and I’m on stage and everything’s going great. I am having the show of a lifetime. I am thriving. The crowd’s loving it. My husband’s in the crowd. I can see my husband. I’m like, jumping up and down.”

Alaina had “no idea” that the neckline of her dress dropped too low and revealed far too much, and everyone undoubtedly saw it. However, “no one has ever posted it (or) said a word about it.”

Bristowe wondered, did the singer-songwriter's new husband notice?

“That’s my favorite part of the story…My husband, newly, we’ve been married 45 minutes,” Alaina joked, “we go on this tour. He’s sitting next to Cody, my best friend’s fiancé, and they are looking up there and looking at the screen. And Cameron looked at Cody and said ‘did Lauren’s boob just come out?’ …He goes, ‘no, man. I didn’t see anything.’”

Alaina said, “if that happened in America, it would’ve been all over TikTok.”

Bristowe and Alaina shared a sneak peek from the Off The Vine episode on Instagram. She commented, “the wheezing laugh fit that we both had is still with me.” Some commenters, including fellow country star Carly Pearce, wrote that they were at the C2C show where the wardrobe malfunction happened. One Instagram user said she was “DYING inside for Lauren,” and “how it didn’t go viral I do not (know) but there was plenty of evidence of it.” others gushed that they “had tears running down my face” from laughing so hard throughout the episode, and applauded Alaina’s sense of humor.
