Camping doesn’t end when winter sets in.
If you’re new to the cold weather adventure you need to be prepared and aware of the weather conditions. Here are some other tips to help you enjoy cold weather camping.
- Insulate your tent for winter
- Pick a campsite protected from the wind
- Use hot water bottles to warm your bed
- Carry tire chains just in case
- Stay hydrated
- Dress in plenty of layers
- Eat a warm breakfast and take short lunches
- Pack fire starters
