In case you missed it...
“Rolling Stone” magazine has come out with their picks for the 25 Best Country and Americana albums of 2021, with a newcomer landing in the top spot. The magazine dubs Morgan Wade’s debut album “Reckless” as the best of the year, the same record that helped her land a major-label deal with Arista earlier this year. Coming in at two is Allison Russell’s “Outside Child,” followed by Eric Church’s “Heart & Soul” at three, James McMurtry’s “The Horses & the Hounds” at four, and Carly Pearce’s “29” at five. Other artists making the 25 Best Albums list include: Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall and Jack Ingram, Sturgill Simpson, Lainey Wilson, Mickey Guyton, Old Dominion, Dan + Shay, Kacey Musgraves, and more. “Rolling Stone’s” Top 10 Albums of 2021 (click here for the complete list of 25)
