In case you missed it...
The late Charley Pride was honored earlier this week with the RIAA Lifetime Achievement Award, and Garth Brooks was on hand to pay tribute to the legendary singer. "I love anything that he did," Garth told the audience at Nashville’s National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM), "because he was one of those guys that didn't ever give you 99 percent. It was a hundred percent or nothing.” He added, “And I think that was something that you kind of learned as a kid, even before you got in the business: 'Son, if you're going to do this, don't leave any of you out. Let's bring everything you got.' That's what ... he specialized in." Garth also performed bits of some Charley classics including “Mountain of Love," "Roll on Mississippi" and "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'."
Lady A's Charles Kelley apparently swore he'd never dance on TikTok but that just changed. The band shared a clip of them from their "Today" appearance, and apparently Hoda Kotb got him to do it. They captioned the clip, "Well it lasted all of 5 days for Charles." Check it out below.
