In case you missed it...

Scott McCreery’s 2018 hit “Five More Minutes” is getting the Hallmark TV movie treatment. The song has inspired a holiday movie that will share the same title. The movie “Five More Minutes” stars Nikki DeLoach and David Haydn-Jones and tells the story of a woman’s holiday wish being answered in surprising ways after her late grandfather’s journal is discovered. And as you might expect from a Hallmark movie, a previously unknown romance is discovered. While McCreery doesn’t appear in the movie, he is an executive producer for the project. “Five More Minutes” will air on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel on November 20th at 9pm

CBS has already made their New Year’s plans. The network announced they’ll ring in the 2022 with a country-themed Year’s Eve special, “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash.” The special will last five hours, running from 8 to 11 pm, and then again from 11:30 to 1:30 am, and they’ve lined up quite a bunch of big names for entertainment. The NYE celebration will feature nearly 50 performances from various places around the city. Artists confirmed for the special include Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band and Dan + Shay from the mainstage at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, as well as Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, and Cole Swindell, with additional artists to be announced at a later date.
