The 55th Annual CMA Awards go down November 10th, and the CMA just announced that the ceremony will be returning to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. “We are so excited to return to Bridgestone Arena for this year’s CMA Awards ceremony,” Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, shares. “We have a truly fantastic show in the works that we will share more about in the coming weeks.” CMA also announced that the show will be complying with venue COVID protocols, and all ticketed audience members will have to show proof of vaccination and wear masks, unless eating or drinking. Performers and this year’s host will be announced at a later date, but Billboard reports that Reba McEntire won’t be taking on hosting duties this year. In 2019 she hosted on her own, while Darius Rucker co-hosted with her last year. The 55thAnnual CMA Awards air live on ABC.
Steve Holy is back to get folks in the holiday spirit. For the first time in almost eight years, Steve is releasing music, the holiday album “A Christmas To Remember,” which drops October 22nd. “I haven’t been in the studio in almost 8 years, and I couldn’t be more excited to share new music with everyone and celebrate my favorite holiday!” he shares, noting the songs on the album are “to remind all of us what is important this time of year.” The album is mostly made up of holiday classics, although the title track is an original tune, written by Sam Hunter and his father Joe Hunter.
