“Time” magazine is out with their annual Time100 list of the Most Influential People in the World and Dolly Parton and Kane Brown both made this year’s list. In a feature written about Dolly for the mag, her goddaughter Miley Cyrus shares, “Have you ever met anyone who doesn't love Dolly Parton? I never have,” adding she, “is not only my idol because of her incomparable career — she's also my role model because of her steadfast morals and values. At her core, she is the definition of a humanitarian.” Miley adds, "She's also the world's most impeccably purposeful walking contradiction, having developed her iconic look after being inspired by the town tramp. Now she's known as a saintly, even godlike, figure.” Meanwhile, Darius Rucker pens an article about Kane for the mag, sharing, that he “has that unquantifiable “it” factor,” adding, “He’s so laid-back and doesn’t take himself too seriously, but he also really cares about his craft and other people.” Darius also talks about how he heard radio programmers tell him that a country audience would never accept a “Black country singer,” sharing “Now everybody knows that’s not true, and Kane is making it more untrue because he’s having success like nobody else.” He adds, Kane is setting the bar so high for the next generation. I hope kids see him and now think, “I can do that.” The Time100 television event will air September 20that 10 p.m. ET on ABC, and will feature Kane performing "One Mississippi” and Billie Eilish performing "Billie Bossa Nova" and "Getting Older."
Kenny Chesney is selling his massive Nashville estate. The singer has put the home, called Bella Luna, on the market for $14 million. The 56-acre property, which Kenny purchased in 2009 for $9.25 million, features a Tuscan-style villa with 12,000 square feet of living space, four floors, elevators, a game room, gym, theater room, pool area and more. Since purchasing the property, Kenny added more plots of land for privacy. It also serves as a good investment, because parcels can be sold off and developed separately.
