Cole Swindell's mother Betty Carol Rainey passed away on Monday. He announced her passing on social media while flying home to Georgia. "Lost my sweet mom today. I know she's up there. Gonna miss her so much." Cole's father, William, died unexpectedly on September 2, 2013, at 65.
Walker Hayes is giving fans a new take on his hit number one song “Fancy Like,” teaming with Kesha for a remix of the track. “It’s going down…I’m yelling timber…,”Walker shares, quoting Kesha’s Pitbull collab “Timber.” “I do words for a living and I don’t even how to communicate my excitement. Fancy Like remix with KESHA.” Kesha added, “This song speaks to me on a very deep level,” adding, “I’m fancy like…. A southern b*tch who loves a Waffle House after a night at the dive bar n karaoke…. Trace Adkins has landed the lead role in Fox’s upcoming drama series “Monarch,” joining Susan Sarandon and Anna Friel. Trace will play Abie Roman, the reigning king of country music, who has created a country music dynasty with his wife Dottie Cantrell Roman, played by Sarandon. According to the description of the series, their country dynasty is “synonymous with authenticity” but it turns out “their success is a lie.” And when their reign is threatened, daughter Nicolette "Nicky" Roman (Friel) “will stop at nothing to protect” it. “Monarch” is set for a two-night premiere January 30th, after the NFC Championship, and February 1st.
