Wouldn't YOU Eat Here??!!

Imitation is the highest form of flattery… unless what you imitate is trademarked.

A Houston restaurant is facing a lawsuit because its name is similar to the one that employs Spongebob Squarepants. Viacom is suing the newly-opened Rusty Crab restaurant in downtown Houston, claiming it's ripping off the popular cartoon's Krusty Crab.

Documents obtained by TMZ say the restaurant is accused of trademark infringement as Viacom claims they use names, images and characters from the show both in the restaurant and on the menu. It even advertises itself as "Houston’s VERY FIRST Spongebob Squarepants Inspired Pop Up Restaurant and Bar!"

The décor is even a copy of Spongebob’s bedroom, living room and more.

The company wants the Rusty Crab to fork over any profit that have been made and shut down.
