Lady A was supposed to be back on stage this weekend, but they were forced to cancel their appearance at Lakefront Music Fest in Minnesota after Charles Kelley had to undergo surgery. “After such a long wait, there isn’t much that could keep us from being with our fans, ”Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood shared. “Unfortunately, Charles has appendicitis, so we’re sorry to say that we won’t be with you in Minnesota at Lakefront Music Fest tonight." They add, “This morning Charles is in good hands and we’re continuing to pray for his recovery,” noting, “The minute he is cleared by his doctors, we will be back on the road to see y’all. We appreciate your understanding.”
After more than a year of being closed due to the pandemic, Nashville’s historic Bluebird Café is finally ready to reopen. The venue is set to reopen Friday, with a sold-out show featuring Nashville songwriters Joel Shewmake, Annie Mosher, and Jason Matthews.
