Metallica will celebrate the 30thanniversary of their iconic “The Black Album” and part of the celebration includes a 53-track tribute album, “The Metallica Blacklist," featuring artists covering the album’s 12 songs. Artists contributing to the project include Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Jon Pardi, Mickey Guyton, Darius Rucker, Miley Cyrus, Elton John, and more. The album will be available digitally and streaming on September 10th, and on vinyl and CD October 1st. Check out the track list here. And Metallica has just released the first track from that album, a cover of “Nothing Else Matters,” by Miley, featuring Watt, Elton, Yo-Yo Ma, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Check it out below. Profits from the album will go to Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, as well as a charity of each guest artist’s choice.
Alan Jackson is headlining the "Where I Come From," concert in his hometown of Newman, Georgia on June 26thto benefit tornado relief efforts in the area.
