Earlier this year Wynonna launched her own CBD line, and now she’s opening up about her decision to do so. Wy tells CMT’s Cody Allen that using CBD herself helped her “sit still,” and “stop the madness and stay in the moment,” which isn’t easy when she’s working so much. "I just want to find peace and a sense of balance," she says. “I am a casual user," noting. "I am working on the word "moderation." She does add that since using CBD she’s been able to get off some medications, noting, “There's a time and place for everything, and this gives me an alternative." The late John Prine will be remembered this fall with a series of concerts in Nashville. “You Got Gold: Celebrating the Life & Songs of John Prine” will be a week-long celebration set for October 3rdto 10thwith the culmination coinciding with what would have been John’s 75thbirthday. So far no artists have been confirmed for the celebration although there's a promise of "unique lineups" at each show. Tickets for four of the planned shows go on sale this week - October 6thand 7that Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, October 8that the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum and October 9that the Basement East. Also during the week the tribute album, “Broken Hearts and Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine, Vol. 2” will be released (October 8th), while other events are expected to be announced.
