It sounds like a scene from a slasher movie, but a woman in El Paso quickly realized it was real when she was awakened at 4 a.m. by the sound of blood dripping in her bedroom. Ann Cardenas turned on the light and discovered blood spattered throughout her entire bedroom, including her body. Can you imagine waking up to what looks like a crime scene? She called maintenance for her apartment building, and emergency crews knocked down the door of the apartment above hers. They found the body of a man they say had died of natural causes five or six days earlier, and as it decomposed the blood seeped through his carpet and floor, dripping onto her ceiling fan. She had a natural reaction to the ordeal; she stayed in a hotel for a few days while her apartment was being cleaned, and now says she’s looking for a new apartment.
