In case you missed it...

Russell Dickerson is the latest artist teaming with the CMA Foundation to help support music educators. Russell is the CMA’s newest Artist Ambassador, joining Maddie & Tae, Lindsay Ell, Jimmie Allen and Ashley McBryde. Russell’s goal will be to inspire students and teachers across the country, and promote the power of music education, something that runs in his family. Russell tells “People” his mom taught him piano, and was his fourth grade music teacher. Later when they moved to Nashville she once again taught music to youngsters. “So that is the lens that I view this through: 'This is going to help my mom. This is going to help incredible teachers like my mom all over America,’” he says. “I'm all in on this thing."

Sting, Jon Batiste, Rosanne Cash, and Kenny Loggins are among the artists set to perform at the first-ever virtual concert for Gilda’s Club NYC, which was founded in memory of the late comedian Gilda Radner.  “It’s Always Something” will take place May 19th, at 7 pm CST, with David Sanborn, Kandace Springs, Bernie Williams, and Gil Parris also performing, and Robin Roberts, Susie Essman, Jon Hamm, Brooke Shields, and JB Smoove set to appear. Proceeds raised from the event will go directly to Gilda’s Club NYC, which offers free cancer support programs to those affected by the disease.
