Residents in neighborhoods all over Colorado have banded together in order to howl at night. As the sun sets across the Rocky Mountains, the howling begins all across the state. Organizers call it the "Go Outside and Howl at 8 p.m." group. They say it helps people express themselves and it's a way to feel connected. The Go Outside and Howl at 8 p.m. Facebook page says that people howl for different reasons and many do it as a way to celebrate the medical first responders on the front line of the COVID-19 crisis. Many say they just want to connect with other people while keeping their distance. Participants are happy to feel that they are not alone and that they look forward to howling at night with their neighbors.
