Winners From The CMT Awards Last Night

The CMT Music Awards took over Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, well actually much of Nashville, last night with Blake Shelton walking away the big winner, taking home two trophies, Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year for “I’ll Name The Dogs.” Carrie Underwood was also a big winner, extending her record for the most CMT Music Award wins, now with 18. Carrie took home the trophy for Female Video of the Year for her song “Champions,” featuring Ludacris Other winners included: Little Big Town, who nabbed Group Video of the Year for “When Someone Stops Loving You;” Dan + Shay, who won Duo Video of The Year for “Tequila;” Carly Pearce, who won Breakthrough Video of the Year for “Every Little Thing;” Florida Georgia Line and Backstreet Boys, who nabbed CMT Performance of the Year and Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina who won Collaborative Video of the Year for “What Ifs,” which, as Kane pointed out, was the first award he’s EVER won.
