Fox is teaming up with iHeartMedia to do “The Four: Battle for Stardom.” This music competition will start where most competitions end – with the four finalists. The singers, who’ll be chosen from auditions by the show, will defend their spots on the stage as new singers try for their spots. If the finalists can outperform their challengers, they’ll survive to sing another week. At the end of the season, the final four will face off against each other.
“The Four: Battle for Stardom” will be different from “The Voice” and “American Idol” because the winner will work with the series’ panel of judges, a team of elite starmakers, who’ll help launch and guide the winner’s music career.
In addition, the winner will be featured in iHeartMedia’s “On the Verge” artist development program, which will give them airplay on of he iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide. At this point, no launch date has been announced.
