Kenny Chesney is recruiting college students to create the video for his new single “All the Pretty Girls.” The singer is asking students from Nashville’s Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro to submit their take on the single, with the winning director’s submission earning them a $5,000 scholarship towards their tuition.
“You live it, dream it, film it. Then send it to us,” Kenny says. “I’m looking for a video that captures what this song is really about, so I’m going to the source. Have some fun with it, and show us what you’ve got.” He adds, “When you have a dream, you’ll do whatever it takes. I’d like to bring some college students a little bit closer than I got … and I can’t wait to see the creativity everyone brings to this song.”
Wannabe directors have until July 23rd to submit their video, with the winning clip to be announced on July 31st. The winning clip will also a premiere on CMT. Click here for more info on the contest.
