The Chicagoland restaurant brand unveils plans for its new Quad Cities location, the first in the state of Iowa

Rendering of Portillo’s forthcoming Davenport, IA concept

(CHICAGO; August 30, 2018)— Portillo’s, the fast casual concept known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites, proudly announces details on its newest location in Davenport, IA. The restaurant will be part of the new Hanlin’s Creek development between the intersections 53rd & Elmore and 53rd & Lorton. The location marks the brand’s first Quad Cities location, and its first restaurant in the state of Iowa.

“Portillo’s is fortunate enough to have a devoted fan base throughout the country, who love to weigh in on our upcoming restaurant locations,” CEO Keith Kinsey says. “As a Moline native, it has been especially exciting to hear from our vocal supporters in the Quad Cities. We would especially like to thank Christopher Glass, who created the Facebook fan page Bring Portillo’s to the Quad Cities. Our team is excited to make this location a reality for thousands of Portillo’s devotees.”

Once complete, the restaurant will feature a diner-themed interior, drawing décor inspiration from the 1950’s and 1960’s. The 9,000-square foot restaurant will include seating for more than 200 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio, and double-lane drive-thru. Guests to the new Davenport location can enjoy all of Portillo’s classic menu items, including Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Italian Beef Sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, fresh salads, and Portillo’s famous Chocolate Cake.

Fans can register for a chance to attend a sneak peek training meal prior to opening and receive updates on the Portillo’s Davenport location by signing up at www.portillos.com/davenport.

Portillo’s is best known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, fresh salads and famous chocolate cake. The Portillo’s brand also includes Barnelli’s restaurants that serve award-winning ribs, pastas with homemade sauces, and fresh sandwiches, soups, and salads.
