Happy Days are Here Again! Starting Monday (6/11) Savanna and Sabula will again be connected. The Dubuque Telegraph Herald is reporting today that Iowa Department of Transportation has hired a ferry to transport people across the Mississippi River between the two communities, beginning Monday. This is temporary, but will allow residents some sort of way across the Mississippi.
