You Can't Beat the Bands

Here’s another thing you didn’t know about me: in spite of the fact that I can’t play an instrument (no GLORIA on the guitar doesn’t count) and was never in band, I LOVE marching bands!  I especially enjoy the drum lines. So seeing last nights’ weather-postponed Davenport Community Schools Band Spectacular was a blast! Congratulations to Davenport Central, North, and West High Schools, as well as Smart, Sudlow, Walcott, Williams, and Wood Intermediate Schools! And the grand finale that included all three high school bands joining the intermediate school bands on the field to perform a patriotic medley was TERRIFIC! Congratulations to everybody (including Moms & Dads)!
