Well, good as the Cubs are now, you'll hardly feel this increase. Chicago City Hall is getting ready to implement Mayor Rahm Emanuel's plan to double the meter rates at the 820 parking spaces around Wrigley Field. This means the parking spots that now cost $2/hour will soon coast $4. This will start two hours before a Cubs game, concert or other special event at Wrigley and will extend for seven hours.
