Miranda Lambert shared her reaction to the ā€œincredibleā€ musicians joining her on stage at a new venue in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lambert is the first artist ever to headline a show at The Truth, a 4,400-capacity venue in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville. The powerhouse singer-songwriter will feature a 12-piece string section as she delivers renditions of career-spanning hits and new tracks from her country-disco record, Crisco, which arrives on Friday (October 2).Ā

ā€œIt’s sick!ā€ Lambert exclaimed as she shared her reaction to the string section on TikTok. ā€œIt’s incredible. ā€¦ā€˜Tequila Does’ with strings? Come on!ā€

ā€œIt was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record, and I can’t wait to bring that to life in an even bigger way with our full setlist,ā€ Lambert said in a statement when she announced the sold-out concert. ā€œWe’ve never gotten to play that way on stage, and to have the opportunity to do it for the first time at the opening of a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville is going to be really special.ā€

So far, Lambert has released the title track, ā€œTwo Things Can Be True,ā€ ā€œTill The Going’s Gone,ā€ ā€œA Song To Singā€ with Chris Stapleton, and ā€œSunset Marquisā€ from Crisco. She recently confirmed the opening track, ā€œSnakeskin Boots,ā€ is a duet with reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Country Artist Ella Langley.

Crisco is ā€œa vibrant and joyful collection inspired in part by the long-overlooked connection between country music’s dance hall tradition and the energy of disco,ā€ according to a previous press release. Lambert said in a statement, ā€œI've always loved every corner of country music. The heartbreak songs, the honky-tonk songs, the songs that make you think and the songs that make you dance.

ā€œMaking this record reminded me that those things don’t have to be separated,ā€ she said. ā€œWe followed the songs wherever they wanted to go, trusted our instincts and ended up with something that feels really funĀ andĀ really honest to who I am.ā€
