Florida Georgia Line Asks Carrie Underwood To Collaborate On New Song

Florida Georgia Line is calling on Carrie Underwood to join them for a new collaboration. The country duo turned to Instagram on Tuesday (February 25) sharing a PSA, "public song announcement."

In the clip, Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, explain that they recently wrote a song with pop singer, Julia Michaels and they'd like Underwood to be a part of it.

"We think it'd be a massive collaboration," Hubbard says in the video. "We'd love to send it to you, we don't have your email or your phone number so we're just going to play a little."

Producer, Corey Crowder, then plays a part of the track while in the studio. After the chorus plays, Kelley tells Underwood, "call us." Hubbard adds, "Alright let us know if you want it, we're going to send it your way. Let's go Carrie!"

At this time, Underwood has yet to publicly respond to the request. Stay tuned for updates to come.

Florida Georgia Line has been busy in the studio working on their fifth studio album expected in 2020. The forthcoming record will follow up 2019's Can't Say I Ain't Country, released in February of 2019. "Simple" was the first single released from the album, followed by "Talk It Out Of You" and their latest, "Blessings."

This summer Florida Georgia Line will hit the road for Kenny Chesney's massive "Chillaxification Tour," which they call "a bucket list moment."

"We both grew up listening to Kenny as kids, and obviously he's a legend but still doing it at a great level, at a high level," Kelley says, adding, "And he's somebody that we've been learning from; we want to learn more from. He's been doing stadiums for like 15 or 20 years, which is crazy when you think about it."

The tour will kick off on April 18 in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, with the first amphitheater show a few weeks later on May 7 in West Palm Beach, Florida. For a full list of tour dates go here. Tickets for the tour are available now.
