Willie Nelson Scores a Top 4 Country Hit From HBO's "Big Little Lies"

Fans of the HBO limited series "Big Little Lies" were all abuzz about the shows finale and cliff hanger ending that was set to an amazing version of Creedence Clearwater Revival's hit "Have You Ever Seen the Rain".

Many of you may recogize the male voice as that of country superstar Willie Nelson. Who is the female? I first I thought this was somehow deceased soul, rock and blues legend Janis Joplin. However, I realized it couldn't be her because Joplin died of a heron overdose in 1970, the year the song was released by CCR.

Who does this amazing female voice singing with Willie belong to? Paula Nelson, Willie's the 49 year-old daughter who is a singer and songwriter like her daddy but also radio host for SirusXM.

Within days of the "Big Little Lies" finale, the song jumped to No. 8 on the all-genre US iTunes sales chart and No. 4 on the iTunes country chart.

"Have You Ever Seen The Rain” appears on Willie Nelson’s 2013 album “To All The Girls …”

This song is hauntingly beautiful and has been on constant repeat in my head and in my car.
