2019 CASI St. Patrick's Day Race

The Quad Cities will come together to run for the gold at the 2019 CASI St. Patrick’s Day Race Presented by Wells Fargo on Saturday, March 16, 2019 to benefit the Center for Active Seniors, or CASI, as it is known to so many. In its 37 th year, CASI’s St. Patrick’s Day Race Presented by Wells Fargo is THE major fundraiser for CASI last year raising nearly $70,000 for vital senior services including the senior emergency food pantry, fans for seniors and Jane’s Place Adult Day Services Program.

“Led by a friendly leprechaun, 3,000 runners and walkers race through downtown Davenport to help raise funds to support CASI’s mission of providing services to senior citizens in the Quad Cities,” said Laura Kopp, President/CEO of CASI. “With the luck of the Irish on our side, 2019 will be our largest race yet.”

Programs available through CASI include Senior Advocacy services to more than 1,300 seniors annually and Jane’s Place Adult Day Services in addition to daily activities, community forums, fitness and health initiatives, educational sessions and much more. All proceeds raised benefit CASI programs.

Don’t care to run? Worried about the weather? Our “Ghost” race registration allows everyone to help support seniors. As a ghost, you don’t actually participate in the race. Instead, your $30 registration is a donation which includes a t-shirt available during packet pickup and the peace of mind knowing you, too, are helping Quad City seniors.

Packet Pick-up is at the Figge Art Museum in downtown Davenport on 2 nd Street between Harrison & Main Friday, March 15 from Noon-6:00pm and Race Day, Saturday morning, March 16 from 7:00am-9:45am (Race Time).
