A new reality competition that's all about survival in the outdoors is coming to Fox television. "Extracted" features 12 untrained competitors attempting to survive the unforgiving Canadian wilderness. Meanwhile, miles away, their family members are at a secluded headquarters watching them. The fate of each contestant lies in the hands of their family members, who have the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the "Extract" button and remove their loved one and their whole family from the competition.
