Two of the most buzzworthy artists in recent memory have teamed up for a three-song EP. Virtuoso Billy Strings and rising star Zach Top have paired up for Apple Music Sessions, recording two songs from Zach's debut album ("Bad Luck" and "Things To Do") along with a cover of Ricky Skaggs' 1983 #1 country classic, "Don't Cheat In Our Hometown." Of the session, Zach said, "We had a lot of fun, traded back and forth some playing and whatnot. It’s so fun to watch him play. And I feel like he’s known so much for a player that it gets passed over sometimes how freaking good of a singer he is too. It was so fun to get to sing with him and him kind enough to come in on a couple of my songs and sing a second verse, sing a little harmony, do that kind of thing. It was a blast." Country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs has announced he'll be taking his talents on the road in the spirit of the season. "Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder Christmas" will hit the road next month with 13 Christmas concerts nationwide. The Christmas tour kicks off December 5th in Tucson, with stops in Scottsdale Arizona, Richmond Kentucky, Newport News, Huntington West Virginia, Wheeling West Virginia, Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania, Marietta Ohio, Nashville Indiana, Knoxville, Louisville, Germantown Tennessee and wrapping December 22nd in Nashville, Tennessee.
