In case you missed it...
Eric Church has lived a big chunk of his life in western North Carolina, which is why he takes the suffering of those who went through Hurricane Helene to heart. Last weekend he joined other artists for the "Concert For Carolina," which raised over $24-Million to help those affected...but Church wasn't done. He's announced that his "Chief Cares Foundation" is working towards building 100 homes for families in the hardest hit areas. "We've come up with a plan called 'Blueprint for the Blue Ridge,' we're going to put 100 families in homes, that have lost their homes, in Avery County and the surrounding areas." Garth Brooks fans might have something big under their Christmas tree, if they've been good. Garth announced yesterday that "The Anthology Part IV" will be out just in time for the holidays. The collection will cover the 14 years after Garth "retired," and went back to Oklahoma to raise his kids. "Those fourteen years of my life are the ones I’ll always remember. It was life at its best. I learned to be a dad, my girls got to know me, and I’d never for one second regret walking away from a career in order to find all of that," Garth says. Along with pictures and stories, the volume also includes six discs showcasing tracks from "The Lost Sessions," "Blame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influences," and original cuts from Garth’s early Capitol Records releases. The collection will be available December 6th.
