- School In Viet Nam Has Height Requirement For Admission (REAL)
The School of Management and Business at Vietnam National University has mandated a minimum height requirement for admissions. In order to consider being accepted, female applicants must be approximately 5”2’ and males 5”4’. Why is this a thing? The university maintains that the height criterion is part of its mission to cultivate top-tier managers for both public and private sectors. Though the all four university programs used to have the requirement, the Ministry of Education forced them to reassess the rule and has now dropped the height requirement for three out of its four undergraduate programs.
