They're getting the band back together again! Big & Rich - who thrilled (and confused) country music fans when they broke out in 2004, is celebrating their 20th anniversary as heads of the "Muzik Mafia" collective (that also featured Gretchen Wilson and Cowboy Troy) with a tour. The tour kicks off February 23 in San Antonio Texas at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, wrapping up August 17 at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Music fans have it good in 2024. Instead of having to wait on record companies to release music when they want to, artists (thanks to social media) have a direct link to their fans - and more and more of them are using that link to drop music, whether it's an official release, an unreleased track, or just them playing around at home on an acoustic guitar. Jordan Davis posted a music clip over the weekend and followed it up with a graphic, captioning it "Coming Friday." The song is "Good News Sold," and it's already gotten positive feedback from a couple of Nashville peers.
