- Woman Angry After Booking Hotel Room For View, Finds It Was Photo Taped To Window (REAL)
A tourist is steaming over getting duped by a hotel in New York. Amber Shelby, who lives in Texas, blasted the booking on TikTok, showing viewers how the hotel catfished her into thinking she was going to get a view of the Manhattan skyline. However, when she and her family got to their room at the Fairfield Inn Staten Island, she was shocked to find out that breathtaking image was nothing more than a print-out stuck to their window shade…complete with an image of the World Trade Center. The real view was the parking lot. Blaming her husband for falling for the scheme, Shelby graciously noted, “No complaints about the hotel.” But as far as the location was concerned, “It was just too far for my liking from the city.” Meanwhile, it seems the hotel covered its butt by noting that images on the website “may not fully represent the room features you booked.”
