Everything Old Is New Again In Movie Trash

Michael Keaton must be in the mood to take us all back in time. Not only is the iconic actor reviving his star-making turn as “Batman” in new DC movie “The Flash” this summer, but he’s re-teaming with frequent collaborator Tim Burton to bring us a long-awaited sequel of a classic hit. Deadline tells us “Beetlejuice 2” has been officially greenlit and will hit theaters in September of 2024. Warner Bros is giving the sequel, also set to star “Wednesday” breakout Jenny Ortega, its Labor Day slot- a ploy which worked for them for horror films “It” and “The Nun.” The production begins filming today in England.
