John Cena has signed on to star in “Coyote vs Acme” for Warner Bros.
The live-action-CG hybrid film centers around Wile E Coyote and his relationship with Acme, the fictional company that sells him products that have thus far proven unsuccessful in his quest to catch the Road Runner.
The pro wrestler-turned-action star will play an antagonist in the film, whose story is based on a “New Yorker” article titled “Coyote v. Acme” by Ian Frazier that was first published in 1990.
