In case you missed it...

Kane Brown returned to his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, late last week to celebrate the opening of the East Lake Boys & Girls Club, which he had a hand in getting completed. "It's amazing just to see it done. It's also really cool that Lowe's started it in my hometown, and I got to do the Boys & Girls Club, which I'm also really close with, so I feel like I'm giving back to them,” Kane tells “People.” “They still have 99 other projects to go for other communities, and we're just excited that they're going to feel the same way we feel about this one.” As we previously told you, back in March Kane teamed with Lowe’s to launch their new 100 Hometowns initiative, which will hand out 100 grants for projects "to build, repair, beautify, inspire and improve 100 communities across America.” The Boys & Girls Club was the initiative’s first project.

Josh Turner is already in the holiday spirit. The singer is set to release the holiday album “King Sized Manger” on October 8th, followed by a holiday tour. The new album will feature 11 tracks, including Christmas classics, and four original holiday tunes. “Making a Christmas record can be a mighty daunting task for an artist,” says Turner. “We had a lot of fun throwing out all the preconceived notions of what a Christmas record should sound like,” noting, “In my opinion, it’s about the words and the heart and soul of how a song sounds. You don’t need jingle bells on a song to make it a Christmas song.” Check out the track list below:

  1. “Angels We Have Heard On High”
  2. “What He’s Given Me” (Featuring Pat McLaughlin)
  3. “King Size Manger”
  4. “Joy To The World” (Featuring Rhonda Vincent)
