In case you missed it...

Alan Jackson is holding, "Where I Come From," a concert in his hometown of Newman, GA to benefit tornado relief efforts in the area on June 26. Three months ago, an EF-4 tornado tore through his hometown and destroyed 70 homes and damaged many others. The concert will benefit "The Coweta Community Foundation" which is working towards the cleanup and rebuilding efforts. Jackson stated, "After the tornadoes came through Newman, I knew that I wanted to do what I could to help my hometown. I started working on an idea to do some kind of benefit in Nashville to help those affected in Newnan, but then heard from a group of leaders in Newnan. I’m glad we came up with a way to bring this show to my hometown … and I’m happy to be helping the people who need it most."
