Our TV partners at KWQC-TV 6 are reporting that the pond at Prospect Park is closed today through Friday, October 16 for trout stocking. Moline Parks and Recreation announced that the pond will reopen and trout season will start on Saturday the 17th.
Get this----officials also told KWQC that approximately 600 rainbow trout were released on Tuesday, which combined weigh about 400 pounds.
