Kenny Chesney is calling his new album "The Big Revival." Due in stores September 23rd, it's a project that Kenny has given a lot of time and thought to putting together.  Kenny explains that he wasn't interested in simply recording a bunch of songs and calling it an album. Don't forget that he had a whole album in the can last year before tossing it in favor of this effort.

Kenny says he wanted to really push himself while giving "the fans something that inspires them" and "gets them pumped up."  Chesney adds that while "trucks, creek beds and cut-offs" are "fun," there's "so much more to country" than that.  He says with his songs he wants to show his fans "how hardcore they really are," and that he knows "there's more to 'em than people might think."

"The Big Revival" features Chesney's current single, "American Kids."  Kenny unveiled the video to the song yesterday.
