Did you watch the Sound of Music LIVE on NBC last night? I did. Only because it starred my FAVORITE superstar ever, Carrie Underwood!
Now, I LOVE Carrie. To me, she can do no wrong. So my opinion of the event is a little scewed. While I do not think her acting was as stellar as some of the other professionals, you have to keep in mind that she's not an actress.
Her singing was on POINT. She even slipped towards the beginning of the show (during the performance of "Sound of Music") and recovered like a BOSS.
The real life Von Trapps have been very vocal about their opinion of the remake... they have even gone as far as saying who they think would have done a better job with the role... who do you think they chose?
I'll spoil it for ya -- Anne Hathaway!
