Adam Smith was a student at St. Ambrose University. He loved playing soccer, and was a gifted musician. He was kind, thoughtful, and full of life; until he developed mental illness. We lost our beloved Adam when he was tortured by paranoia and delusions that he felt forced to take his own life. We will never recover from it. Adamfest is our attempt to try and bring some good out of this tragedy. All proceeds from Adamfest will go to either mental health research or to Rock Island County, to help people in need pay for medication. - Adam Smith's family
