Apparently 2024 is going to be a repeat of 2023 when it comes to things being thrown towards performers while on stage. Luke Bryan is the latest victim, with a twist: he wasn't hit by anything, he slipped on it. At the Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver over the weekend, Luke was working the stage when he slipped backwards and fell - hard. Seemingly unhurt, Luke laughed it off, handing the phone back to the fan saying, "It's ok - my lawyer will be calling." The second annual Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff, a country concert event that commemorates the kickoff of the college football season, will be held on August 31st at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Four big country acts will take the stage: headliner Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi and Ashley McBryde. Tickets go on sale this Thursday at 10 am via Ticketmaster.
It's been a minute since we've heard new music from Darryl Worley, and apparently when we do, he brings some friends along. Friday, Worley - along with Justin Moore and Chris Janson - dropped the new song "Tractor Time." About the release, Worley said, "My new song, ‘Tractor Time,’ drops today and I think it’s the perfect summer anthem. I’m so grateful to have Justin Moore and Chris Janson on this tune with me.
