The upcoming "CMT Music Awards" will see the debut of a brand new award - the "June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award," presented to the singer that displays "dedication to community and their fellow artists, embodying June's spirit as a fierce advocate and initiator in paying it forward, helping others find their voice and using their platform to inspire and uplift others." And the inaugural recipient will be Trisha Yearwood. "We are thrilled to honor the incomparable Trisha Yearwood with the inaugural June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award at this year's show. Trisha has a unique ability to rally a community, whether that may be families in need with Habitat for Humanity, or uplifting her fellow artists and entertainers trying to carve a path in the industry," said a CMT Music Awards statement. "She embodies the bold strength of June, who tirelessly devoted herself to service and community, and the namesake for this award. Both multi-hyphenate trailblazers eloquently crafted a script for others to model, letting their hearts and authenticity guide their personal, professional and public lives." Trisha will receive her honors April 7th at the awards show, as well as perform her song "Put It In A Song." The "CMT Music Awards" takes place on Sunday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The show will air on CBS and will also be available to stream live and on demand via Paramount+.

Keith Urban is prepping for a busy 2024. Not only has he promised new music is on the way, NBC just announced that the country star will join "The Voice" starting April 8th as a mega mentor for the performers who've made it through the battle rounds as they prepare for knockouts. Urban will appear on the hit singing competition alongside its current panel of coaches: Chance the RapperDan + ShayJohn Legend and Reba McEntire. Urban has previously appeared on  "The Voice" as former coach Blake Shelton's advisor during Season 15. He was also a coach on the series' Australian version for Seasons 1, 10 and 11.

While Hardy is satisfying his rock fans with his latest album "ROCKSTAR," country fans also have a reason to get hyped. Coming this Friday: "Hixtape Vol. 3: Difftape," a collection of 17 songs that all feature late country singer Joe Diffie's trademark vocals (along with help from some famous friends). While we don't know exactly who those "friends" are, Hardy insists in his Instagram announcement that fans will be knocked out by who's on the collection. "‘Difftape’ is all Joe Diffie songs and it’s just a huge nod, tip of the hat, if you will, to the icon that is Joe Diffie. Rest in peace, we all love you, we all miss you and we just wanted to do something special and different and cool. So this is the biggest ‘Hixtape’ ever, 30 of our best country friends and singers. You’re not gonna believe all the people that are on this… I’m so proud of all the people that said yes to this." See Hardy's announcement and the album's track list below...
